U-PVC column pipes — available in DCP Medium Plus, Standard Plus, Heavy, and Super Heavy models — serve every application from deep drilling to high-pressure systems. Products are manufactured in accordance with ISO 9001:2015, TS 11794 (borehole pipes), TS EN 12201-2 (HDPE pipes), and TS EN 12201-3 (latched sprinkler pipes), among other national and international standards. A column pipe, also known as a drop pipe for submersible pumps, is a specialised pipe system used in deep boreholes to lower a submersible pump to the required depth and convey water back to the surface. Düzgünler Plastik’s U-PVC column pipes feature a square thread connection system and “O” ring seal for maximum safety in high-pressure, deep-well applications. The company holds the distinction of being the first manufacturer of this product in Turkey.
A borehole casing pipe lines and stabilises the walls of the drilled well; a column pipe is installed inside the casing to house the submersible pump and carry water to the surface. Both can be manufactured from U-PVC material but have distinct technical specifications, diameters, and pressure classifications. Selecting the correct pipe type depends on whether the pipe will serve a structural (casing) or hydraulic (column) function within the well.
