The square threads of sleeves and pipes designed for DCP Column Pipes are made on the latest generation threading machines. By thickening the pipe ends with special production methods, the safe wall thickness value of the pipe is maintained after threading. Special adhesive is used to fix the sleeve to the pipe. Sealing is provided with o-ring gaskets used between the pipe and sleeve. With the tightening torque applied during well installation, the pipe head parts come into contact with each other and create pre-stress in the square threads. This pre-tension prevents the threads from self-dissolving.
Selection of Pipe Type and Pump
The design of DCP Column Pipes is based on the safe pump head (Hm) of the pumps determined by taking into account all pressure factors in the system. Even if DCP Column Pipes is to be used at lower depths, the type should not be selected lower than the maximum pressure value of the pump. The maximum pressure of the pump should not exceed the permissible hydrostatic pressure of the pipe. The laying depth of the pipes should be calculated according to the formula given below. All units are meters.
