What Is the DCP Heavy Column Pipe and Which Deep Wells Is It For?
The DCP Heavy column pipe is a thick-walled U-PVC column pipe made by Düzgünler Plastik for submersible pumps, rated for 26 bar safe pressure and a 260-meter pump head (Hm). It comes in eight sizes, from 42 mm (1¼") to 165 mm (6").
It is a borewell column pipe built for deep wells with heavy pumps and pump heads above 210 meters.
Why Can the DCP Heavy Column Pipe Carry More Load?
Short answer: thicker walls raise pressure and tensile strength. The top pipe carries the weight of every pipe below it, plus the water and the pump, so tensile load matters most in deep wells.
