Plastic Pipes from Past to Present

Galvanized and black steel pipes, which were widely used in installations, were replaced by plastic and copper pipes in the early 2000s. Especially polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) pipes made of plastic have taken their place in the sector with their rich options. The most commonly used pipe type in heating and clean water installations is polypropylene (PP). Polypropylene raw material is divided into three groups in terms of its resistance to heat, pressure, and chemicals. These are Homopolymer (Type 1), Block Copolymer (Type 2) and Random copolymer (Type 3).
